Sundaram Infotech Solutions (SIS) today launched an ERP learning centre, the Axapta Academy of Excellence, here.
The centre would train both functional and technical professionals, a press release said here.
SIS, the IT arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, is one of the largest partners of Axapta, the ERP solution from Microsoft India.
As an ERP, Axapta had all the modules to address the total and integrated information needs of an enterprise, it said.
"The primary objective of the Axapta Academy is to impart specialised functional and technical training on Axapta ERP as a product to enable them get involved in live offshore project implementation at our Chennai facility. In the medium term, we expect the professionals, rolled out of the Axapta Academy, to be positioned on site in overseas markets such as the US and Europe," Srinivas Acharya, joint managing director of Sundaram Finance Ltd, said in the release.
