| Madhavan S Head Insurance Practice, Sundaram Business Services Madhavan heads Insurance Practice of SBS, which comprises insurance operations and insurance-related business development. Over two decades of experience in the life insurance industry has helped him in having exposure to various functions of the life insurance business. Starting his career from Life Insurance Corporation of India, Madhavan moved on to AMP Sanmar, managing various assignments in underwriting and distribution operations. Later, he shifted to SBI Life as Assistant Vice President (Operations), where he was responsible for driving customer service and claims operations for both individual and institutional lines of business. Prior to joining SBS, Madhavan had a stint with MetLife as General Manager, responsible for driving project initiatives, business metrics, reinsurance Bordereaux management, operational compliance and setting up of an Operating Risk Control unit. Madhavan is a commerce graduate from Madras University and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India. |
